RESCUE & SAFETY

Several aircraft and pilots are available to carry out rescue and safety prevention missions:

Primary interventions of rescue to people, Fighting against forest fires, transport of personnel and loads on forest fires
Command and operational coordination reconnaissance, Forest fire fighting by helicopter.

We intervene with reactivity in all the places where the ground vehicles cannot reach, to be able to answer the specific needs to this activity, we are equipped with the following materials:

-Water bombing device, bambi-bucket type (450 and/or 850 liters), Simplex type pumping system of 1000 liters, Mobile stretcher

HeliSud Corse has been monitoring and fighting forest fires for several years in collaboration with the fire departments’ rescue centers. Adapted equipments, a high level training and a solid experience explain our presence, each year, on many fire starts.
